As well as being a Fully Qualified Accountancy Firm we are also a Registered Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with the Irish Taxation Institute. The Irish Tax Institute is the leading representative and educational body for Ireland’s Chartered Tax Advisers (CTA).

We offer a comprehensive range of tax services for our business clients. So whether you have just started a new business or are planning to grow, we can provide you with the guidance and advice that you require to plan your tax affairs effectively.

We have clients from Wexford to Dublin, Ireland to India & Hong Kong/China and as far afield as Australia.

As a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), we provide a comprehensive income tax / personal tax advice and compliance service to our clients. So, if you need help with tax planning issues, we can provide you with the guidance and advice that you require to plan your tax affairs.

We take a real interest in your personal tax affairs. We will tailor our services and advice to your particular needs. Our fee can be based on a fixed fee basis once we have an understanding of your circumstances and requirements (and all the time being aware of planning opportunities).

Our personal tax services include:

  • Self-assessment and preparation of tax returns
  • Personal tax planning (tax relief on pension planning/retirement relief)
  • Capital Gains Tax (Retirement Relief)
  • Inheritance Tax Planning (Capital Acquisitions Tax) (Dwelling House Exemption, Agricultural Relief, Business Relief)
  • Income Tax Enquiries and disclosures to Revenue

These services may be of assistance to you if you need to plan in the event of some of the following:

  • Your income may be at a level where you start to lose the tax rate bands
  • You are selling an asset, such as a residential property and you need advice on the capital gains tax position
  • Capital Acquisitions Tax advice on receipt of an Inheritance or Gift

It is important that income tax returns are filed on time. Where the deadline is missed, Revenue can impose penalties for late submission and payment.

As a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) we can provide you with the guidance and advice that you require to ensure that your self-assessment tax return is prepared and submitted on time.

There are different criteria for submitting a self-assessment tax return and you will need to file a tax return if amongst other things:

  • You are self-employed;
  • You have a rental property;
  • You have income from savings and investments more than €5,000;
  • You have received an inheritance/gift;
  • You have sold an asset and capital gains tax is payable;
  • A proprietary director (i.e., director who owns more than 15% of the ordinary share capital in a company) will be required to file a self- assessment return in her or his capacity as a director.

Whatever your personal tax requirements are, we can help you with them.
